All AeroScore™ reports are delivered "as-is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or reliability.

We Only Report What Is Given to Us

Vantage Aviation Advisory analyzes only the documents submitted by the client or submitting party. We have no obligation to seek, obtain, or review any records beyond what is submitted. If submitted logbooks are incomplete, inaccurate, falsified, altered, or otherwise deficient, our report will reflect those deficiencies without independent correction. We are not responsible for the accuracy, authenticity, completeness, or integrity of any documents submitted to us.

AeroScore™ reports do not represent a comprehensive review of all records that may exist for any aircraft. Records not submitted to us are not analyzed and are not reflected in any report.

Not an Airworthiness Determination

No AeroScore™ report constitutes an airworthiness determination under 14 C.F.R. Part 43, Part 91, or any other federal, state, or local aviation regulation. Vantage Aviation Advisory does not physically inspect any aircraft, does not examine original paper logbooks, and does not perform any maintenance, repair, or alteration. A qualified IA (Inspection Authorization) mechanic must perform a physical inspection before any airworthiness determination is made.

No Reliance for Transaction or Safety Decisions

AeroScore™ reports are informational only. Any party relying on an AeroScore™ report to make a purchase, sale, financing, insurance, operational, or safety decision does so entirely at their own risk. Vantage Aviation Advisory, its principals, employees, contractors, and agents are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, death, or claim of any kind arising from reliance on any report.

Third Party Reliance Prohibited

Each AeroScore™ report is prepared solely for the named client. No third party may rely on any report for any purpose. Vantage Aviation Advisory expressly disclaims any duty of care to any person or entity other than the named client.

Physical Condition Disclaimer

AeroScore™ scores and findings reflect logbook documentation quality only. They do not reflect, represent, or imply anything about the physical condition, airworthiness, safety, or mechanical integrity of any aircraft, engine, propeller, or component. An aircraft may score well on AeroScore™ and still have significant mechanical deficiencies that are undocumented or undetectable through logbook review alone.

Pre-Existing and Undocumented Conditions

Vantage Aviation Advisory has no obligation to identify, report, or investigate any defect, damage, modification, or condition that is not documented in the logbooks submitted. The absence of a finding in a report does not indicate the absence of any condition in the aircraft.

Public Database Limitations

Reports may include information from FAA Registry, NTSB Accident Database, FAA Document Index, Federal Register Airworthiness Directives, and other public sources. These databases may contain errors, gaps, delays, or outdated information. Vantage Aviation Advisory is not responsible for errors or omissions in any third-party database. NTSB pre-1982 records cover 1962–1981 and may be incomplete. Federal Register AD data begins approximately 1994.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vantage Aviation Advisory’s total liability to any client shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific report giving rise to the claim. In no event shall Vantage Aviation Advisory be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, personal injury, or property damage, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

No Fiduciary or Professional Relationship

Nothing in any report or engagement creates an attorney-client, broker-dealer, appraiser-client, or fiduciary relationship. Vantage Aviation Advisory does not represent buyers or sellers in any transaction and does not receive commissions or transaction-based compensation.

Logbook Authenticity

Vantage Aviation Advisory makes no representation that any submitted documents are authentic, genuine, unaltered, or accurately represent any aircraft’s maintenance history. We report what we receive. Detection of fraudulent or altered records is not within the scope of AeroScore™ services.

Artificial Intelligence & Automated Processing Disclosure

Nature of AI-Generated Output

The AeroScore™ platform uses artificial intelligence, including large language models and computer vision systems, to extract, interpret, and analyze data from submitted logbook documents. AI systems may:

• Misread handwritten entries, numbers, dates, or signatures
• Fail to extract data that is present in submitted documents
• Incorrectly interpret ambiguous or degraded text
• Generate inferred or fabricated values not present in the source document
• Misidentify aircraft makes, models, engine types, or regulatory references
• Miss entries due to scan quality, unusual formatting, or document structure

Vantage Aviation Advisory is not liable for any error, omission, misinterpretation, or fabrication produced by any AI or automated system used in report generation.

AI Is Not a Human Expert

The use of artificial intelligence in AeroScore™ report generation does not constitute human review, professional inspection, or expert opinion by any A&P mechanic, IA, aviation attorney, appraiser, or other credentialed professional, unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing for a specific engagement.

Deterministic Scoring vs. AI Extraction

AeroScore™ scoring is calculated using a deterministic algorithm — the same inputs always produce the same score. However, the data inputs fed into the scoring engine are generated by AI extraction, which is probabilistic. Errors in AI extraction will produce errors in scoring. The deterministic nature of the scoring engine does not guarantee the accuracy of the underlying extracted data.

OCR and Scan Quality

AeroScore™ relies on optical character recognition to convert logbook document images into text. OCR accuracy is dependent on scan quality, resolution, image clarity, handwriting legibility, and document condition. Vantage Aviation Advisory is not responsible for data present in submitted documents that was not successfully extracted due to OCR limitations.

No Guarantee of Completeness

AeroScore™ reports reflect only the data successfully extracted from documents submitted. The absence of any finding, flag, or entry in a report does not indicate the absence of that condition in reality.

Independent Verification Required

All findings, dates, values, scores, and other data contained in any AeroScore™ report must be independently verified against original physical logbook records, FAA databases, and qualified professional review before being relied upon for any purpose whatsoever.

Third-Party AI Services

Documents submitted to AeroScore™ are processed by third-party AI systems including Anthropic’s Claude API. By submitting documents, you consent to this processing. Vantage Aviation Advisory does not control and is not responsible for the data handling, output accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party AI provider.

Force Majeure and System Availability

Vantage Aviation Advisory is not liable for delays, errors, or failures in report generation caused by third-party API outages, database unavailability, AI model changes, internet disruptions, or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Scope of Service & What We Do Not Do

What AeroScore™ Is

AeroScore™ is a logbook documentation intelligence service. We analyze digitally submitted logbook documents using AI and automated tools, cross-reference public FAA and NTSB databases, apply a deterministic scoring rubric, and deliver a structured report reflecting what the submitted documents contain.

What AeroScore™ Is Not and Does Not Do

• We do not physically inspect any aircraft, engine, propeller, or component
• We do not examine original paper logbooks
• We do not verify the authenticity of any submitted document
• We do not perform or constitute a pre-buy inspection
• We do not issue airworthiness certificates or statements
• We do not provide appraisals or market valuations
• We do not provide legal advice or legal opinions
• We do not provide mechanical or maintenance advice
• We do not conduct title searches or lien searches beyond querying available public bulk data
• We do not verify AD compliance — we report logbook entries only
• We do not confirm that any aircraft is airworthy, safe to fly, or fit for any purpose
• We do not represent either party in any transaction
• We do not guarantee that all applicable ADs or regulatory requirements are identified
• We do not review records not submitted to us

Terms of Service

Acceptance

By submitting a report request or checking the acceptance box on the intake form, you agree to be bound by all provisions on this page. If you do not agree, do not submit a request.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this service.

Client Responsibilities

• Ensure all submitted documents are authentic and unaltered
• Provide accurate information on the intake form
• Ensure you have the legal right to submit the documents provided
• Independently verify all findings before relying on them for any decision
• Obtain qualified professional review before any transaction, flight operation, or safety decision

Submission of fraudulent, altered, or misrepresented documents is prohibited and may result in cancellation without refund and referral to appropriate authorities.

Payment and Refunds

Payment is due at the time of report request. Refunds are available only if Vantage Aviation Advisory is unable to generate a report due to circumstances within our control. No refunds are issued after report delivery. Tier pricing: QuickScore $99 · AeroScore™ Standard $199–$249 · AeroScore™ Full $349–$499.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed. The remaining provisions continue in full force.

Entire Agreement

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Vantage Aviation Advisory with respect to AeroScore™ services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Governing Law

Governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Venue: Hillsborough County, Florida.

Modifications

Vantage Aviation Advisory reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vantage Aviation Advisory, its principals, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of or reliance on any AeroScore™ report or service
• Your submission of inaccurate, fraudulent, incomplete, or unauthorized documents
• Any transaction, decision, or action you take based on any report
• Any claim by a third party arising from your use or sharing of any report
• Your violation of these terms or any applicable law or regulation

This indemnification obligation survives termination of any service engagement and delivery of any report.

Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

When you submit a report request, we collect your name, email address, phone number, aircraft information, logbook documents, and intake form responses. We do not collect payment card information directly — payment processing is handled by third-party processors subject to their own privacy policies.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information solely to generate your report, communicate with you about your request, improve our platform, and comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

AI Processing of Your Documents

Documents you submit are processed by third-party AI systems including Anthropic’s Claude API for OCR and data extraction. By submitting documents, you consent to this processing. Vantage Aviation Advisory does not control and is not responsible for Anthropic’s data handling practices.

Data Storage and Security

Report data is stored on secured servers. Logbook documents are retained for a reasonable period to support report delivery and follow-up requests. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no system is completely secure.

Cookies

Our website uses minimal cookies necessary for basic functionality. We do not use advertising cookies and do not display advertisements.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Note that deletion of logbook data may affect our ability to service follow-up requests.

Children’s Privacy

This service is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

Intellectual Property

AeroScore™ Trademark

AeroScore™ is a trademark of Vantage Aviation Advisory, pending registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (Class 42, Section 1(a)). Unauthorized use is prohibited.

Report License

Each AeroScore™ report is licensed to the named client only for personal or internal business use in connection with the specific aircraft transaction for which it was ordered. Reports may not be reproduced, redistributed, resold, published, or shared with any third party without prior written consent. Third parties who receive reports without authorization may not rely on them and Vantage Aviation Advisory disclaims all liability to such parties.

Platform and Methodology

The AeroScore™ scoring methodology, rubric, software, algorithms, AI prompts, and report format are proprietary to Vantage Aviation Advisory. All rights reserved.

Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution First

Before initiating any formal dispute process, you agree to contact Vantage Aviation Advisory in writing at brian@vantageaviationadvisory.com and allow 30 days for good-faith resolution.

Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules in Hillsborough County, Florida. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding.

Class Action Waiver

You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Vantage Aviation Advisory. All disputes must be brought in your individual capacity only.

Exceptions

Either party may seek emergency injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending arbitration.
